Venue Notes
Our newest venue, Xcite Winchburgh Sport & Wellbeing Hub is a community resource, catering to one of the fastest growing areas of West Lothian.
Owned by West Lothian Council and located on the new Winchburgh Schools Campus, Xcite WLL were delighted to be named as the management operator for the venue in Autumn 2022.

The purpose built facility boasts a stunning 25 metre heated swimming pool offering public swimming sessions, aqua classes and pool fun sessions.

The venue also boasts two large sports halls perfect for racquet sports, plus a programme of group fitness classes delivered from two designated fitness studios.

Outdoors, Xcite Winchburgh boasts a full-sized grass sports pitch and two high quality synthetic pitches suitable for hockey, football and rugby. Kids coaching is also available with our award winning Learn to Swim programme, gymnastics and football coaching running throughout the week.

Our multi-sports camps are the perfect way to keep your child active this Summer! These fun 6-hr sessions are jam packed with exciting activities and sports for your child, focusing on teamwork, learning new sports, encouraging movement and having a great time doing it! Ball sports, racquet sports, athletic events and more will make up the main part of the day, with games to keep children engaged.

Xcite Holiday Camps Terms & Conditions - Important information parents and guardians need to read, in advance of attending Camps.

Registration/start time: 09:00- 9.15am

Camp Starts at :9.15 am – 15.00

Camp Finish:15:00 prompt

Signing In/Out Arrangements  
Registration will start at 9.00am prompt, please report to the main reception. A team members will guide you to the registration area. All children must be signed in and out of their holiday activity. All parents must retain security number band for child's safety, this will be allocated when the child is signed in at registration. 

Camp finishes promptly at 15.00pm. Please be on time to collect your child as our coaches have other commitments to attend straight after camp.  

In the event of parents or guardians being late, we ask you to notify the venue number provided below to inform the team.

Notice of Absence 
If a child is not able to attend a booked holiday activity, parents/guardians must telephone reception to let us know and to allow us to update records.

 Cancellation 
Holiday Activities are none refundable or transferable. However, we will try to accommodate transferring your booking if a space is available within another timetabled session.   

Electronic Devices 
Items such as, but not limited to, mobile phones and tablets should not be brought to our holiday activities.  West Lothian Leisure is not responsible for the loss or damage to any such device. 

Food and water 
If your child is attending full day holiday activity, you’ll need to provide them with a packed lunch to bring on the day. We ask you do not provide your child with any nut-based food as we may have children in the programme with allergies. Please bring plenty of water/refillable bottle and snacks for during the day. 

Clothing 
As your child will be taking part in a variety of different activities it is important for their comfort and safety that they are dressed appropriately.  

 Weather.
February/October Holiday camp
Will be hosted in doors this year, we ask parents still provide children with warm clothes and water proof jackets as there may be an opportunity for them to go outside if weather is dry!

April/ Summer
In the event of sun exposure, we ask all parents to apply sun cream before camp commences. Also provide your extra sun cream to allow your child to re-apply during the day. Staff will assist but children must be able to apply themselves. We advise all parents to provide children with sun hats, long lightweight clothing, and waterproofs in case of rain or a spare change of clothes suitable for the outside weather. 

Should your child not be dressed appropriately they may be unable to take part in certain activities. For example, if they are wearing sandals, crocs or flip flops, they will not be permitted to take part in the activity.

Equipment  
Equipment will be provided for all activities except for Golf, where we ask children to bring along their own clubs. If your child does not have their own clubs, please get in touch here. 

Toileting 
All Children who attend our holiday activities must be toilet trained. Children will be taken to the toilet but must be able to go independently, with no nappy changing available.  

Behavioural Expectations  
To keep our Holiday Activities enjoyable for all, children are expected to be polite, courteous, and co-operative to staff and other children at all times. In the unusual event of unacceptable behaviour such as bullying, hitting or aggression towards other children, our staff will contact parents directly by telephone to advise of situation which may result in child being removed from the camp.  

Persistent unacceptable behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in you being called to arrange immediate collection of your child and possible exclusion from further participation in the Holiday Activity sessions. 


First Aid* 
There is a qualified First Aider on site. On the first day of camp our Coaching Team Will ask you to complete a form you are giving your permission for your child to receive basic first aid or be taken for medical help should an emergency arise in your absence.  

In the unusual event that your child is injured during their activity, or is distressed, we will contact you immediately. We wouldn’t normally contact you to let you know about minor injuries, but if you would prefer to be contacted to be advised of any injury and to speak to your child, we will ask you to complete form on 1st day of camp.   

Photographic Images - Copyright and Consent*  

On its day of holiday camp Xcite Will ask if you wish to give permission for us to take/use photographs/video footage that include my child for their promotional formats, if you don't wish your child to have their photo taken, we will ask you to complete a form on the day.

West Lothian Leisure takes seriously the safety of all customers. As such, and with particular attention to Child Protection, any parent or guardian, who selects ‘no’ above, their child will not be included for any photographic or video materials by West Lothian Leisure.  

All images taken will only be used for the positive promotion of West Lothian Leisure and its services and facilities. These images may be used in the following publicity formats. 

General Use – promotional brochures/posters. 

Press advertisements & press releases 

Online media – including website, social media, and online advertisement.  

Internal publications 
West Lothian Leisure owns the copyright of all photographic images and reserves the right to use such for all promotional purposes for up to 4 years from the date of this submission form if consent is given, which we will ask for when you attend 1st day of camp.
